Pros and cons of The One Bible App app for iPhone and iPad

The One Bible App app good for

A+++ for portability and accessibility. I am enjoying the daily readings that allow you to read the entire Bible in a year. I also enjoy daily reading of pastor Howards notes, which is one page daily reflection on the Bibles application in our lives.
This app is a lovely and comforting way to read the story. Easy to use for those who might otherwise not attempt to read the Bible. My friend day by day,

I really like the new quick guide for moving between chapters and verses. If I didnt lose my wireless Bible every time there is an update I wouldnt have any complaints.
My go-to app first thing each morning to start my day with my priority -the word of God. Very manageable size readings that easily fit into a busy schedule.
Not bad. Words in study are joined together and hard to read. Turning pages back is hard to do. Other than that its a good program.

Some bad moments

After update, it has changed to dutch itself, and is impossible to switch back to english or portuguese. I have written to support, but had no answer. There is no support for it. When it is working, it is very good. Mine is not.
Lots of versions to choose from but the NIV is all I was looking for. It wouldnt download so I could use it offline, and the layout was a bit cluttered and confusing. I would have liked something more user friendly, something that I could quickly open during devotions. Didnt find that here.
The NIV has been my most-used translation since the 1980s, and while Im not happy with editorial changes made in the last few years its familiar and still my preferred version. I have five or six Bible versions on my phone, and to my frustration, this one is the only one that will not connect to my church Wifi (it will connect to my home Wifi for some reason). Though Im connected to my churchs Wifi, when I open it it just gives me a message saying that I must have internet access to use it. Other versions, including an NASB from the same software publisher, open without any problems. Very frustrating.
