The One Bible App App Reviews

The NIV has been my most-used translation since the 1980s, and while Im not happy with editorial changes made in the last few years its familiar and still my preferred version. I have five or six Bible versions on my phone, and to my frustration, this one is the only one that will not connect to my church Wifi (it will connect to my home Wifi for some reason). Though Im connected to my churchs Wifi, when I open it it just gives me a message saying that I must have internet access to use it. Other versions, including an NASB from the same software publisher, open without any problems. Very frustrating.

This is an amazing app and very easy to use.. I love that you can read or hear audibly.. the tools provided to highlight and copy and share is wonderful! So nice to have the ability to listen or hear Gods words anywhere..

Love how easily you can look up specific verses. A favorite app of mine.

I like having the Bible with me on my iPhone wherever I go. Even better, I have multiple versions for cross reference (no pun intended) and they are linked among platforms so the notes or highlights that I make on my phone also show up on my iPad as well as across all versions. I recommend it.

This is a great app. For the Bible I have used it for months and use it two or three times a day.

I was looking specifically for an RSV app, which was an available addition to this NIV version. I have downloaded the RSV and several other versions for minimal cost, and can easily navigate between different versions. The search function is more usable than the ones I have used on other Bible apps.

Easy to find verses.

This app is just what the doctor ordered. I use it at night before sleep to relax my soul and sooth my spirit. Thank you, Lord!

You can choose which version of the Bible you want, background colors, text choice, size of text, even a button to have the page you are on, slowly move forward with your reading speed! Sync to your furthest point across devices, highlight text, plus much more! This one has it all. Amazing!

Repair the sound on my app it quits reading half way thru the chapter of Isaiah

There are a ton of Bible apps available; this is the first one I found and it meets my expectations full well. (It doesnt hurt that I love the NIV version. It communicates like I do.) And then the owner keeps improving the extras. Way to go! If I were to provide one constructive comment, it would be to provide an option to delete read notifications.

I may not have tried them all, but Ive wasted time and money with more than my share, and this one is by far, among the best that you can possibly buy. Its very easy to navigate, very easy to highlight, mark, and save for study purposes. Finally an app that supplies satisfaction without the frustration.
